Brrrrr, YES! Far too cold to consider dipping anything other than toes in I should think - British waters never really warm up properly. Besides, it's autumn again already. Summer lasts for approximately one month in the UK, but it's very rarely a whole month all together in one lump. It tends to be a couple of days here; a day or two there - with a week of cold grey and wet in between :(

It was incredibly still and clear that day.

Some hardy folk do like to swim in the Channel of a summer - some even do it in winter. I find dipping my toes is more than enough - it's never very warm!

You should! They've just refurbished the old Pavilion and it looks fab now - plus, coffee shop :D
