This is what Chelsea just posted on Mum's Facebook for her adoption anniversary:
"Thank you for everything you and dad done for me thank you for giving me a home and thank you for adopted me you and dad have change my life around and I'm so glad to be yours you both are my idols and I'm so grateful that you found me and you kept me I love you both very much couldn't ask for better parents xxxxx"
Isn't that beautiful?

Fourteen years. She was three going on four when the adoption went through and now here she is going on for 18, all grown up.

Thanks. Yes, she was adopted on my birthday! It was the date set by the court for the hearing - could have gone horribly wrong, but thankfully we now have a joint celebration :)
