llywelaHave now taken delivery of shiny new TV. :)
New to me, that is. Second-hand in actuality - the old one of my Uncle Nigel's that he was passing on to me. It is huge! Easily twice the size of the old portable, that I've now passed on to Small for her bedroom. This is an experiment to see if she will actually stay alone in her room for any length of time. She still suffers from this chronic inability to stay on her own in any room ever. Hopefully she will grow out of it eventually. We'll see if she ever stays in her room long enough to actually watch the TV...
Well, she was excited enough at the thought of having it.
She's been pretty good here with me this weekend. We've done very little - in fact, I spent most of this afternoon resting on the sofa while she played Pretending People, which is her way of de-briefing herself on a day's events. And the family popped around for a cuppa, Brother Mine tuned the TV in for me, as my brain is still mush.
Now having an equally lazy evening.
