Congratulations to my Mum and Dad's marriage, 40 years young today!

We had a bit of a shindig at the house yesterday, to celebrate - at least 35 people came and went over the course of the afternoon and evening. We ate yummy food, the kids played in the garden, we looked over old photos and laughed at the hairstyles and fashions, we swapped stories about family past and present, and a good time was had by all.

Happy anniversary, Mum and Dad.

Heh, people keep telling me that lately! I've always thought that my sister was more like Mum and I took more after Dad's side of the family, but I suppose the resemblance can be seen to both sides - and changes over time!
