llywelaThis was the view from my office window this morning:
That was just after I arrived, looking not un-akin to an Eskimo, having been caught in a particularly nasty snow shower en route. Just ten minutes earlier, Bute Park had looked like this as I walked through:
Eventually, the sun came out. This was short-lived, but pretty while it lasted. Then the snow rolled in again and the view from my office window got whiter and whiter (and the volume of snow on the trees outside grew heavier and heavier)
This was the view from the other window in the office - the skylight!
Yeah, there were about 6 inches of snow all over that come the end of the day!
By mid-afternoon, the (apparently ungritted - what was the council playing at?) roads were starting to get pretty slippery, and my view was still getting ever whiter - definitely time to call it a day and head home while it was still safe to do so!
Just to continue the wintry theme, here are some frosty pics taken a couple of weeks ago, in the last big chill we had:
And finally - a pair of bookends!
