llywelaGot home from work tonight to find that the dishwasher fairy had dropped by in my absence and installed a shiny new machine for me.
Well, okay, the words 'shiny' and 'new' may be stretching the point a little. It's a second-hand machine that my dad bought off a client for £50 because they had decided that it cost too much to run on a water meter and were going to scrap it. Whatever. It works. The old one didn't. I call it a win!
Don't look now, but it is just possible that the week may be on the upturn.
