It's been ages and ages since I did one of these, an episode recap for The Professionals. I started this one months ago, literally, and feel very guilty that it has taken so long to get back to finishing it. Never mind. Better late than never. This one is all kinds of fun.

Recapped for Prosfanfic. I included a bunch of pretty screencaps, made by myself, to make up for it taking so long! To read the recap, click the link below!

Hand on my heart, this is my alltime favourite Pros episode. They look fabulous, the banter is top notch, so many scenes stand out, and it all cracks along at a fair old pace. So this scene by scene account was a treat, thank you. And timely too, as next week it's the episode for the Great Pros Watch!

This episode is so, so much fun. I enjoyed recapping it enormously - so I'm really not sure why it took so long to complete!

My timing is impeccable, huh *G*

Lovely header and very insightful review... as always :) I do really like this episode, although there are a few things here and there in terms of plot holes etc, but like you said, I can overlook them because of the banter. Phillip's always bugged me a little, although I know Cowley employed the best regardless of their backgrounds but Phillip's attitude and the liberties he took (like with the papers on Cowley's desk) was pushing his luck a little. Makes me wonder what his background was :)

Yeah, the story is riddled with plot holes, when you examine it, but none of that matters because...so much fun!

Phillips is a bizarre, quirky little character. The kind it might have been interesting to revisit from time to time as background colour. But Show was never really that good at recurring characters.

Mmmmmmm, darling Lads. They are marvellous in this episode. Perfect partners and with the snarky banter, and it's all just brilliant.

Good old Pros *sighs* Would you believe that this is the most popular British show on TV here? They air it at least once a year. Since the 90s.

My favorite ep is the one where the various special agencies basically use Bodie and Doyle as a fodder to get some terrorists and gather info and they have to run for their lives the whole ep through. Lotsa action, Bodie worried about Doyle, banter... Awesome ep.

Awww, I don't think it is airing at all over here any more, alas. It's so much fun! Even if it did premiere the year I was born...

The episode you describe sounds like Blind Run to me. Definitely awesome! With the danger and the banter and the fear factor. Brilliant.
