HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY TO BUFFYFORUMS!!

Hard to believe it's been a whole year since nikkimisplaced gathered up all us refugees from the old Buffyworld Forum and created this shiny new home for us. Thank you, Nikki! It's been great to be a part of the team, watching the forum grow and grow, going from strength to strength - here's to the next year!

Don't be fooled by the name - we talk about a hell of a lot more than just the buffyverse.

Congratulations also to Nikki for the launch today of our shiny new homepage.

It's been a whole year?

Yep, one year ago today Nikki created the forum and the first members signed up, although it was intended to just be a temporary place where we could hang out and grumble about BW being down. The bulk of the community didn't make the move for a couple of months after that, once it became clear BW wasn't going to survive.

Pop into the forum and see the party we've got going on! Lyn wrote an awesome piece about how the forum got started LOL

Congrats! I was more of an "Angel" fan myself, but I liked Buffy too.

I found an article on yahoo news about post-strike episodes of shows, and this is what it says:

Supernatural: "Two pre-strike episodes remain. Expected to shoot 4 or 5 additional episodes to air in April/May."

Heh. The forum is called 'BuffyForums', but although it is centred around Joss Whedon's show we actually talk about just about every show under the sun - SN has its own section.

I saw an earlier article that said the network wanted 6 new episodes. I think it's going to take a while before there's a clear picture - depends what the networks can negotiate with the production teams over how many eps are actually attainable. It looks very much as if they are going to be working later into the summer than usual, which is going to result in a lot of schedule juggling for actors and crew who have film commitments for hiatus, etc.
