I'm fairly certain my little rose bush should not be in full bloom in January.

Or the fuchsia, for that matter.

The fuchsia's name is Phyllis, btw. I didn't name it! But the name was the reason I bought it.

Madness. It's all madness.

That's okay, my orange tree has a crapload of oranges that aren't even RIPE yet.

The seasons are totally out of whack. Maybe that's why everyone is ill this winter?

Madness.

That is really weird. The poor plants don't have a calender, so have decided it is warm enough to flower.

Lovely pics.

They've been flowering all winter, both of them. Madness. They are in a nice sheltered spot, and apparently that's good enough for them!

June in January, perhaps? Global warming certainly will provide us with multiplicities of Oddities to puzzle over, but what the hey! Better than same-old same-old ALL the time, non? One of the reasons I love Colorado weather is that one NEVER can tell for sure what's going to happen next ;-} Keeps me on my toes, as it were. . . .

Heh. British weather is ever unpredictable - it's why we talk about it so much! The plants usually stick to their seasons, though, at least up until these last couple of years. Now none of them seem to know which end is up!

The flowers are pretty. I do need to prune them at some point, though, and would have to have to cut while they are in bloom, so some recognition of the season would be nice *G*

That's crazy, but at least the flowers are pretty! :)

My cats are already shedding all over the place, it's madness.

My cat is also shedding madly. I think I need a stronger vacuum...

Once upon a time you could tell what season it was by the flowers, not now. This throws us out too.

I keep meaning to do some pruning. Looking at your plants I'd better get on with it or I'll be chopping off flowers!! Pure madness!
