Seem to have come down with a heavy cold from somewhere or other. Perfect timing! I just hope I can speak again by Christmas. Still, I can't complain too much, having remained relatively cold-free so far this season. I'm doing miles better than last winter, when I seemed to pick up a new bug every second week!

Have succumbed to the Christmas spirit and put up my little fibre optic Christmas tree as a nod to the season. I'm not sure it counts as festive decoration, though, being barely a foot tall. Poppy has already tried to eat it, so I'm not sure how long it'll be staying up!

The tree is a little plastic tree with fibre optics woven through the branches, which light up with shifting colours when it's turned on. It's very pretty.

Poor you. Colds are bad anytime, but something you don't want at Christmas time.

Christmas Trees and kittens and puppies jus don't go together. All the glitterly stuff is very tempting to them.
