I love this show. :) And my icon is from that episode.

*looks at icon* Hey, I recognise that scene...*G*

I love this show too. I've wanted to recap it for ages, but felt I had enough projects on the go already. Then this summer I thought 'sod it, I'm making a start on it.' I find I love it all the more every time I re-watch, and recapping is turning out to be enormous fun. The characters and their interactions hold me spellbound even when the plots are at their dodgiest.

I so love Alec. I can't wait for the Berrisford Agenda. It makes me cry every time I see it.

*adores Alec* I have to be good, though, and make myself recap the episodes he isn't in, as well, to keep up the continuity. Except for Boo, the halloween dream episode. I refuse to do that one.

I've decided that one of my biggest reasons for loving Alec is the fact that he never once opens up to a soul about his past or his problems, through the whole of season two. Even in the Berrisford Agenda, viewers know what happened and what he went through because we are shown in flashback, but the other characters never learn anything more than they can glean from the context. He never talks about anything personal or about his past. And I really appreciate that in a character, especially appreciate that in spite of that fact we are able to understand so much of his hidden depths, just by his actions and reactions, and the skill of the actor.

/end essay *G*

Yeah, I don't blame you.

And Jensen...well, he's just perfect for the part. I don't think any other actor would've been able to make Alec really come to life, because Alec's a more complex character than you really notice on first viewing.

Absolutely. Alec is a way complex character. I think Joshua is the only person in the show who comes anywhere close to actually seeing past all the layers of camouflage he deploys on a daily basis. Yay for Jensen bringing him so vividly to life.

I only recently got back into DA, because I was about 12 when it came out. I hate myself for forgetting how awesome Jensen was, man.

I have a few years on you *G* Alec was the reason I started watching Supernatural - I remembered liking Jensen a lot in that role, and, since I'd not had the chance to see him in anything since, wanted to see how he was in another role. The rest is history, of course - SN and Dean swallowed me whole! Dark Angel I hadn't seen in years, although I always remembered loving it. Then when I finally got the DVDs I fell in love all over again.

I'm finding, mind, that I appreciate the Max-Logan eternal dance a lot more on re-watching and recapping. It bugged the hell out of me first time around, but the developmental process behind all that circling of one another is actually quite nicely done, if a little repetitive.

I barely remembered it. I remembered Max on the Space Needle, and Max's dream of her and Logan finally doing it (*giggle* because I was twelve), and how it was surprising that he was so tall. I think I got bored in the middle of the second season. But in my defense, I was a kid.

Yep, I'm doing more. I hope to get through the whole season, eventually. But sloooooowly because I have so many other projects - especially when the new seasons of my currently airing shows begin again. It's good to be busy. There are too many eps that I adore coming up not to find time to recap them at some point, now I've started, though. I love these characters and their interactions so much.

I'm so glad! I understand how hectic things can get, and I've been reading the Supernatural ones anyway, so I don't care how long it takes!

I was wondering, is it you who does the little bar manips on the summaries? They're beautiful!

The little banners are made by me, yeah. My technical skill with photoshop is limited, but I keep practicing and I'm pretty sure I'm improving, as long as I don't compare my work to that of my more artistic friends...

I dunno, yours are pretty good too.

I especially love the ones from your Supernatural section, which I've been checking out too. Mind if I print them out? (There's a bunch from the pilot that I love).

Oh, feel free. Help yourself :) I just re-recapped Dead in the Water this last week, with graphics for that one now. Might try to get Phantom Traveler done as well, but the rest of the recaps will probably stand as they are now. Graphics might be added at some point depending on time and motivation, with updates noted on the homepage when there are a bunch of them to talk about. The new season is almost upon us, after all!
