Off on my hols for a week as of tomorrow, so have spent the day madly cleaning and washing, so that the flat will be all shiny to come back to next Sat.

I'm so lazy with icon making. I usually end up just using the same borders and gradients over and over, simple as possible - very rarely experiment or try to improve beyond what I know I can do! I mean, the images are usually so pretty in themselves...

LOL no need to be experimental, unless you want to become a full-time icon maker *g* Icon making is just something you like to do now and then and have reached a certain proficiency and going beyond that would require more effort than it is possibly worth for you to draw entertainment from it. Writing is your passion, icon making just the bubblegum :D

Going down to Pevensey Bay in West Sussex, where friends of the family have a house on the beach they let us use for a week every summer. 'Tis a quiet week, just hanging out as a family, but usually nice and relaxing!
