Spoke to my landlord about the kitten tonight. He said "some of my tenants I would never say no to."

Aww. I've been with him in these flats for eight or nine years now. He knows I keep the place clean and tidy. So, we're all systems go. Probably just as well, since Poppy's arrival has already been decided on and I've bought so much stuff ready for her...

Yay for nice understanding landlords! We have a dog and it's often a problem here in Turkey. I mean, the kid in the flat opposite? Can throw phenomenal tantrums whenever she chooses, day or night. But let my pooch bark? And we're NOT talking an Irish Wolfhound here - and it's tut-tut-tut. Still, Poppy's mews will be cute more than threatening, I'm sure!
