The reception area of my office building is currently in the process of being turned into a police station again, I noticed as I wandered through just now. If I'm lucky, they'll do their filming overnight and be gone by tomorrow. If I'm unlucky, this means I'll have to spend the next few days dodging cameras and trying not to fall over the sound equipment!

*sigh*

One of my friends used to live in the uni halls in Birmingham where Doctors was filmed, and their canteen/cafe used to get taken over to film the outside reception scenes (and inside, I believe). She used to get really irritated at having to take the long way round to lectures because of it.

She said it was worse because it was Doctors and so shit so she never had any inclination to star-spot, lol!

No stars in whatever this is to spot. Although our building has been used for Pobol y Cwm before now, when they had scenes in court, and that was cool, because I could spot actors I knew in that. Especially the ones who have kids in school with Small! But yeah, it is irritating having to dodge cables and stuff, especially when they take over reception, because there's no way to avoid going through there to go anywhere, including the toilet!

You know, I've never even asked what it is they film - I just duck and run when I see them! I think it's some kind of police show that's probably in an obscure timeslot on BBC4 or something.

I'm starting to think you're destined for the movies. Every week there's a new post here about you trying to dodge cameras. Soon there will be a post in the papers about you being the new star discovered ;)

Mwahahah. Hardly :p Just that a lot of filming takes place around the city, so a certain amount of camera dodging is necessary!

You should get one of those navigators and like what they've done to the ones for the cars here in sweden, you should add all cameras, although here it's traffic cameras, but you should have like biiiiig signs for cameracrews.. aaanyway, would be helpfull ;)

damn.. I just woke up, my head is mush and so is my ideas ;)

There's no escape! Especially when my office building is used fairly regularly as a location!

Do you think this could be the same mob that 'may have filmed' you the other day ?

Could be. I can think of at least four shows that film regularly in the city.
