Just home from my weekend away visiting my sister and her husband in Kent. Having arrived back in Cardiff, I walked out of the train station to find a full on marching band processing by right outside. I was like, hi there, City, it's nice that you missed me! ROFL No idea what it was all about, but they were heading for the castle so I'm going to assume there was some event or other going on there.

Had a lovely time with D&R,mostly just hanging out doing very little. We went into London on Saturday afternoon to see Stomp at the Vaudeville. It's fantastic - I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone! But mostly we just hung out together and did very little - we talked about going out on Sunday, maybe to Lullingstone Castle to see D's friend Tom, but in the end we decided it was too hot and we'd rather just sit around chatting and drinking homemade fruit smoothies! And also watching lots of TV; Doctor Who was excellent - so creepy! And the Joseph programme was a lot of fun to watch because D&R had already booked their tickets to go see it in August and were absolutely desperate for Lee to win. *G* Luckily he did - the runner up looked way too much like a choir boy to be Joseph!

Was made a huge fuss of by one of Deb's cats, the little fatso Lulu, and her much more skittish son Disney also deigned to sit on my lap once or twice, so I felt very honoured. Not that you'd ever know he was her son, as she's about as maternal toward him as a Great White! But they came as a package deal and are both gorgeous.

Now have an enormous amount of catching up to do!

Awwww, sweet! Nothing like couple of nice pussies to brighten up LJ ;)

Sounds like a busy weekend, you'll need a quiet week now to have a breather.

Sounds like a great visit.

I clicked on your link to Stomp and from the pic it looks like The Tapdogs, a show started here in Australia quite a long while ago. I did see it at our local theatre and was fascinated by it, then heard it had gone International, with different casts of course.

Black and White cats, a breed unto themselves. When I saw your photo of Lulu, I thought it was my Jack. :)
