I think Upstairs Neighbour got a bit of a shock when I knocked on his door at 1am to ask him to turn his music down. But seriously, it was the third time this week he'd woken me up.

He did turn it down, but I could still hear it. And he still spent the next two or three hours wandering around up there doing I have no clue what - why does anyone need to stomp around so much for so many hours in the middle of the night? I probably should have said more, but I was half asleep, and my hatred of confrontation took control and wanted me out of there as fast as possible!

Trouble is, though, that once my night's sleep has been disturbed, that's it - I don't get back to sleep properly at all afterward, and end up getting out of bed at the crack of dawn out of sheer boredom with lying there awake. Bah.

I find myself wanting to inspect his wardrobe now, too, to find out if he owns anything at all other than black jeans and black t-shirts, because seriously, I've never seen him in anything else, even at 1am!

Thursday night TV got a little tricker last night, as I now find myself torn between House and Hustle. I've been following season three of House on Five, but not finding it compulsive - for which read: I like to watch it, but don't care that much if I miss an episode - so last night recorded it and watched the new season premiere of Hustle instead. I've never found Hustle compulsive either, but it's always great fun to watch - fluffy, bubblegum TV. And they even had a smidge of character development last night, as well. The next question is...will I get around to watching House, as recorded last night, or will I not bother and continue to be torn between the two? Only time will tell.

Oh, and last but definitely not least: Birthday wishes for [livejournal.com profile] ozziebabe

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SHARONE!!

I find House enjoyable to watch, but it's always the same and there is no big story arc. Which is why I don't have troubles with it for 1 second if I miss an episode or two.

blah for the stupid neighbour, shoot him ;) LOL

I was up way too late too, last night... *yawn*

I think House is just about getting into a kind of seasonal arc of sorts now, which is why I should probably remember to watch the episode I recorded. But we'll see!

What music was it?

If it was Avril you should have left him to it, if it was anything else, then you were well within your rights. ;)

It was really bad music that I wouldn't have chosen to listen to if I was given a choice! Stupid man. He doesn't have your taste in music ;)

Ah no, doesn't sound like somebody I'd like to live near to, sorry you have to go through all that :(. Good for you for telling him to quieten down :D.

As for House, it's not a show that particularly draws me, but I think it may slowly be becoming like other shows where they're arcs. If I remember correctly the last episode I saw was continuing the arc of the pissed off cop arresting House. I'm not watching it anymore, so don't know how that'll turn out.
