Wahey. Wales have remembered how to win. Now if they can just work out how to win against slightly bigger teams, all will be good.
Small and I had a fantastic evening at the game - the Millennium Stadium is always awesome, even when the crowd is really small, like last night. Wales were 2-0 up inside 20 minutes, goals by Ryan Giggs and Christian Bale, hit the bar I don't know how many times, dominated possession, and then Jason Koumas's penalty to wrap it all up in the second half was right in front of us. Literally. We were in the third row, right on the goalline - brilliant seats. Almost got whacked in the face, mind, when one of the San Marino players threw a hissy fit and kicked the ball into the stand. Got yellow carded for it.
Could understand the San Marino frustration, though - their players were awful divers, and the referee got really fed up with them and wouldn't give any decision their way, whereas Wales managed to get a few borderline free kick decisions, not to mention that penalty.
Slept over at my parents' house after the game, which my little Calico cat thought was fantastic. Now not so much looking forward to lugging my overnight bag back home again tonight, though...
