Meh. It's all stormy and windy today.

Have now shelled out for mine and Mum's tickets to the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in July. It's her birthday present, except that it's February now, the birthday isn't till the end of March, and the show is in July. But still, her birthday present is her ticket. And another ticket for me, because although she'd enjoy the show if she went by herself, because she loves gardening, the whole point of going is that we go together. It's our thing. Every year for years now, ever since I first bought us a coach trip to Chelsea, we've gone to a garden show every year, and Mum loves it because she loves gardening, and I like to potter in mine, so spending a day amid flower and plants isn't a hardship for me either, and we just hang out and have quality time with just the two of us. For the last couple of years we've taken the cheapskate option and gone to the little show here in Cardiff, but in previous years we've gone to Chelsea, Kew, the Gardener's World Show in Birmingham. This year it's Hampton Court. We're thinking of Malvern for next year. It's nice.

But I'm now seriously broke for the rest of the month.

Hampton Court is a massive flower show. Haven't been there for years though. I tend to avoid the area when it's on, almost as many people around as a rugby day!

Yay Jo's coming to my neck of the woods! I normally take the week of the flower show off work as the traffic is so bad! But if you get time I'd love to meet up for coffee/tea while you are down :)

I don't know the area at all. I just know that the coach takes us there, and then usually Mum and I spend the day hanging out at the show until we have to go get the coach back home again. But it would be really cool if we could arrange something :)

Well I know the area like the back of my hand! I won't be able to come into the flower show without buying a ticket, but there are some little coffee places just on the road outside, if you have 20 minutes for a hi! :)
