Celebrating the new year as it arrives I can take - 15 minutes of fireworks that sound like someone decided to bomb the city, starting at midnight? Not a problem. I had a good view from my kitchen window. Being kept awake half the night by torrential rain and then the other half of the night because the bloke upstairs decided 5am was a really good time for him and a couple of mates to hold an impromptu jam session? Not so much fun. It wasn't even good music.
