Had another good lesson today. Mr Instructor thinks I am very nearly there. Well, it's about time, too.

Thing is, I can drive. Have been able to for ages. But I never feel relaxed enough behind the wheel to actually get through a test, and that's the final hurdle I have to get past. But I'm almost there, and with a bit of luck I'll be shelling out for the darn test sometime in the New Year. Only problem with that is that Mr Instructor is technically retired already, and his instructor licensing runs out at the end of the year. He's looking into a way around this, since he'd like to see me through to the end, now!

Damn. This means I'm going to have to book my theory test and do some serious studying for it!

The driving test is terrifying, it doesn't matter how comfortable you are driving normally you will be scared, but the examiners do know that and give you a few allowances for nerves. When I did mine, my leg was shaking on the clutch so much it was squeaking!!

You'll be fine honey, just think how you'll never have to walk to work in the rain again and that will get you through! Don't picture the examiner naked.. they are often old and ugly and it will just put you off!! :D *hugs*

Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I can drive, I just never feel comfortable while doing so, and when I get really tense I lose all coordination and struggle to make my right and left hands and feet work separately! If I can get past that, I really will be ready.
