Nov. 27th, 2006 10:11 pmNice to have a day off work. Very nice indeed.
I spent the entire day out shopping with my Mum. The object of this little outing was to acquire my Christmas present from the parents, although I ended up spending a lot of money myself. I bought a Christmas lunch for us both, because...well, why not? I bought Christmas presents for my Sunday School class and my friend Molly, stocking fillers for Small, birthday present for my brother-in-law (who has the audacity to have a birthday directly after Christmas) and a new skirt, jacket and PJs for me that I need. Well, that's not entirely true - the jacket and PJs were needed, but the skirt was sheer self-indulgence. But, y'know, pretty. And my Christmas present was also acquired, after much wandering around the craft fair and many jewellers - a bracelet watch and a few new pairs of earrings, since I'm still in mourning for my favourite earrings that were stolen in my burglary.
All in all, a very nice day off work. :)
