Oct. 28th, 2006 02:55 pmA long time ago, way back in the spring, I planted a bunch of gladioli bulbs. Only one of them bothered to grow and flower at the time it was supposed to.
Now, though, now that autumn is here and the nights are drawing in, and everything else in the garden has started to die back, the rest of those gladioli bulbs have decided that now would be the appropriate time to put in an appearance. And the rose has decided to burst back to glorious bloom, three months after it finished flowering.
Plants are as crazy as people.
