llywelaWeekend ended with our annual prize giving in Sunday School. Utter shambles as usual, not that anyone cares because the kids are cute enough to make up for every mistake they make.
My cousin Ruth's little boy Ewan, age 6, was all kisses and cuddles for his baby sister Keira, only a few weeks old. Siblings relations at their absolute best. Wonder how long that'll last...
Amazing to see some of the youth group up on stage taking part - there's a little clutch of lads aged 16-17, rough as anything. Only a year ago we'd have laughed out loud at the idea of any of them helping out with a kiddies play. And yet they come, and keep coming, and have settled down more than anyone could have dreamed possible. And there they were, up on stage, helping out and taking part. Good with the kids, too.
Chelsea has taken to playing around with them, ever since going to Oakwood with the youth group (that she's not old enough for yet - she went because my parents were both going). She's ten. Always was a terrible flirt, since she was tiny.
She is going to be a shocking teenager. If she's already like this at ten, imagine fourteen...
