llywelaSo. We had a bit of a bomb scare just locally - at the police station just around the corner from me, specifically.
Apparently, some bloke pottering around in his garden discovered a leftover bomb from the Second World War. And instead of leaving it there and calling the police, the stupid sod dug it up and took it to the police station himself.
Cue a big area around the station cordoned off while the bomb squad were called in to make sure it was safe. Fun and games, eh.
Saw my friend Molly today - her daughter-in-law Kerry went to get her mammogram results yesterday, but they were inconclusive, so she's now had a needle biopsy done and will get those results back tomorrow. Moll is worried. She's already got her grandson fighting leukaemia, a close friend terminally ill with cancer, another friend with MS starting to deteriorate, and her alcoholic husband in a nursing home.
Fingers and toes crossed for Kerry.
