Bugger, damn and blast.

Getting dressed this morning, I heard a noise at the back door and went to have a look - found some bloke peering in (or trying to) through the frosted glass. He scarpered the moment he saw me.

Bollocks. Felt all shaky, and stood in the kitchen in the dark for ages because it gives a good view of the back door and garden. Not scared, because there's a big difference between looking through someone's door and kicking it in while they are present, but nervous in case he/someone comes back while I'm out and tries the burglary thing again.

Am strongly tempted to drag something heavy, like the tumble drier, in front of the back door before I go out.

Darn.

My jaw was hurting when I woke up this morning. Am really not in the mood for all this right now.

ARGH. And yes, you have to tell the police. Dammit, it's essential *waggles finger*. Get them round BEFORE you go to work, and with a bit of luck they'll do the heavy lifting as well.

And... hugs.

Now I feel like a naughty schoolgirl coz I didn't call the police - seemed silly when the chappy was so clearly long gone. I did barricade the backdoor before I left, though.

Won't stay in work long today as not feeling very well. Just have to be here long enough to get volunteer Ros sorted out and meet-and-greet anyone who turns up for the drop-in day. Don't think I'll get much else done.
