llywelaWent to see Serenity this morning and it was so cool!
I loved the film, wish I'd seen Firefly when it was on, and am more determined than ever to invest in the DVDs. Brother Mine suggested getting me them as a Christmas present, but I'm not sure I want to wait that long...
Finances, as ever, will have the deciding vote on that one.
The film really was great. It has echoes of Star Wars, of Farscape and of Andromeda, but also has a slant and mythos that is all its own. Plus, of course, it is very much a Joss Whedon script.
I liked Wash. I was sad when he died. :-(
And I still think its weird that a macho bloke is called Jayne!
