Sep. 20th, 2005 01:27 pmnf.com is still chucking a wobbly. It isn't just not loading today - it isn't there! It vanished at some point between me posting a hello this morning and arriving in work.
I seem to recall back in the days when I frequented XT, the admins there had a function whereby if there was a problem and they knew what it was, they could email the entire user group with an explanation. The new management stopped doing that, but it was a handy function to have!
Another snippet of news I should have posted yesterday but was too brain dead to mention: good news this time, to counter all the recent deaths. My colleague Natasha had her third child on Sunday evening. Samuel weighed in at a massive 9lb10oz! She's going to have her hands full now, with the 19 month old as well. congratulations to Natasha, Kerri, Connor and Ellie.
And, just to mention for the sake of mentioning it - on my way home from work last night I watched in awe as a bus took the side off a parked van! It was...interesting. Not as entertaining as the time a lorry carrying a train carriage got stuck under the railway bridge by my parents house, I'll grant you. But still. Interesting.

Date: 2005-09-20 03:23 pm (UTC)I followed a French lorry once, and it got stuck under a railway bridge! I had to go and redirect the traffic until the police arrived!
