I got home last night to find a ladder and other DIY equipment in the corridor leading to my flat - bearing in mind, now, that mine is the only one along that corridor. Fair enough, as the landlord often stores equipment in the alcove under the stairs just by my door. But when I went to go into the flat, the door stuck. I got it open, with some effort, and then realised what the problem was. Someone has been painting the skirting boards out there - which, again, fair enough - but they've also OPENED the door to my flat to paint the jamb, and then closed the door again before it was dry, leaving a huge mess. There's all sticky, undried paint thick along the inside of the jamb, AND all along the edge of the door. The door no longer catches properly, and when it is shut it then sticks.
I am not happy.
