llywelaWhy is there so much death going around at the moment?
Three weeks ago, it was my Nan's boyfriend Bert.
Yesterday, our family friend Mike. Still reeling over that one. I just can't believe it's true, that he's really gone for ever. :-(
And now today...my uncle Larry has died. That one isn't so upsetting, as I hadn't seen him in years, but just very sad. He was once married to my dad's sister Joan, who I was named after, and she died 19 years ago. I've got a really beautiful silver pendant he gave me that was Joan's. He's remarried, so we haven't really seen much of him since. But a couple of days ago my aunt Lesley went to see him, because he was dying, and he said to his wife, "You can go now, Joan is here." He thought she was her sister, his long-dead wife. That's just really sad. RIP, Larry.
