Feeling all warm and shiny now, because I came home from work to find a letter from my cousin with a photo of his week old baby son, Luca, who was born on my dad's birthday last week.

Awwww. So cute. And such a lovely letter: "N is recovering very quickly and looking more radiant than ever." Isn't that a wonderful thing for a new dad to write about his partner.


Less happy to go out the back and find that the cats have been digging up my bedding plants again, though. Bah.
