Random gripes and grumbles

Item One: One week tomorrow we face the nightmare of moving our office. The packing crates arrived today. What joy.
Item Two: Where has my boy gone? Crespo didn't feature at all in Milan's crucial Serie A game against Juve yesterday, and boy did they need him, going down 1-0 and giving the advantage to their opponents in the Scudetto race. Bah. You see - Shevchenko doesn't win for them every game he plays in. Tomasson was alongside him, and barely touched the ball before he was replaced by an equally ineffectual Inzaghi. What's going on? Has Crespo fallen out with his long-time mentor Ancelotti? Are they hoping to drive down the price Chelsea want for him if he doesn't play? Is he being rested for something (like - what)? What's going on?!
Item Three: Writing. I've tweaked my Monico episode eight too many times to count since it went to S to be beta'd, and am still in two minds about it. It is getting more and more complicated to strike a proper balance between keeping the focus on Oz and allowing the other characters to have storylines and development of their own. Also, I'm not giving Oz a huge number of issues to deal with at the moment, which worries me slightly that readers (hah, what readers!) might find a bit boring. But I want to lull him into a comfort zone for a while now, so that I can pull the rug out from under his feet completely when Phase Two kicks in...
Item Four: I am all alone in the office this afternoon. How boring!
