llywelaSo, I've learned a little more about my Izzy-cat. I saw my landlord last night, and he was talking about her - apparently she belongs to 'Simon upstairs'. I still don't know what this Simon's arrangements are for her - does he have any real way for her to get in and out, or just rely on people like me to give her access? I didn't ask Landlord if he knew her real name. It might not suit her as much as 'Izzy'. *g*
I had a really weird dream last night.
In my dream, I was with my family and, for some entirely unknown reaon, we were going on a charter plane flight. Because that would really happen, oh yes. The plane took us through the mountains of Powys (mid-Wales), except that the scenery looked a lot more like Middle-Earth/New Zealand. We stopped for an outing at a castle in Powys, and in my dream this was called Castell Carreg Cennen, which is all wrong as well, because Castell Carreg Cennen is in Carmarthenshire not Powys and is a ruin. This castle was completely intact, and big, and very fortress-like, with a secret tunnel to get to it. Except that the tunnel wasn't actually all that secret. A lot of the people in the group with us were familiar, and now that I'm awake I know why - they were all people off TV, from all kinds of different shows.
We went around the castle for a while, but this mostly involved going up and down twisty turny staircases. And then suddenly we were outside again, having a picnic on the lawn. While we were picnicking, about a dozen people got rounded up to be beheaded, and I'm sure there was a reason for this, only I can't remember it now. I just remember being glad that none of my family were among the executees.
After the picnic,we went off to explore another part of the castle, which involved going down a very steep slope. I became very worried that I'd left my bag on the lawn outside, with my camera, phone and purse in it, but wasn't able to go back to get it. Then I went into a private little room, but was unable to lock the door and an older woman came in and started talking to me about how her son was trying to learn the bass and she wished he'd stick to the guitar. The son then arrived, with a few mates, and it all got very confusing. And then I woke up, very suddenly.
