further witterings

llywelaSo far today I have:
1) Sliced my thumb open.
2) Bashed my knuckles, resulting in more bloodshed.
3) Bitten into what seemed like a perfectly fresh and healthy apple, only to find it had a rotten spot on the inside. That was a bit distressing.
Now wondering what further delights the day has in store!
Also, the air conditioning in work seems to have been permanently switched off in our room because we kept complaining about being too cold. Well, we were - it is very hard to work when your fingers are turning blue. So I'm now sweltering in a hot, airless office instead. Sometimes you just can't win.
Bah.
ETA: in Other News, Crespo is due to play for Argentina tonight in a friendly against Hungary. Here's hoping for goals!
