llywelaSmall and I had an absolute blast watching Children in Need last night. I was obviously in the mood for the general hilarity as I kept finding myself singing along. Man, I never realised I knew the words to so many Boyzone songs! Eek! The Doctor Who scene was just pure gold. Five and Ten! So much love. ♥
Today we're taking ourselves off to the Winter Wonderland in town. Here's hoping it doesn't rain.
Don't have time to go into much detail about the new SN, except to say how much I adored this episode. ♥ Bless his heart, Sam finally found the right words to get through Dean's wall of denial via the door, and the final scene is just made of squee. Perfect brotherly bonding mingled with both practicality and pathos, and just damn.
Plus, of course, Gordon becoming his worst nightmare and coming to a gory end, and Kubrick also coming to a gory end - and was anyone else a little surprised to see that sub-plot coming to such a premature end? I'd expected to see it drawn out a little longer. Bela's scenes worked well, the structure was tight, the pacing spot-on, and the character dynamics perfect. Sera Gamble and Kim Manners for the win!
Now if only they could find a swift resolution to this strike...
