llywelaCaught a really interesting documentary about Tutankhamun on channel5 last night. I usually never realise these things are on until it is too late. Maybe I should pay more attention to the TV guide?
Also last night, Small phoned. The conversation ran thusly:
Small: You know the Tracy Beaker magazine?
[I've had this magazine on order for her for at least two years now, so yes, I have heard of it.]
Small: I've decided I don't want it any more. So you can stop buying it now.
Me: I'll cancel the order then.
Small: Good. That'll save you a lot of money, won't it?
Me: Yes, three pounds a fortnight.
Small: So maybe you could buy me the Robin Hood magazine instead...
She's not daft. Still, the Robin Hood magazine is cheaper than Tracy Beaker, so it's still a win for me!
And now, I offer photographic evidence that my kitten is really a parrot in disguise. Poppy won't sit on a lap to be petted, but she loves to cwtch up on the back of my neck or a shoulder! Please ignore the ugly cardigan I'm wearing in the first picture - it was a chilly evening!
