Okay, so two out of four recaps so far this season have gone over 30 pages. That probably says something about just how much is going on in these episodes! Or maybe it just says something about how wordy I am. There seemed to be a lot of meta-worthy stuff to chew over in this one, and I found myself rambling on for an awfully long time about the power of words and the impact a single conversation can have, plus the history of Dean's solo gigs while Sam was away at university, Bobby's mini sub-plot with the Colt, Ruby's intentions, Sam's vulnerable state of mind, and goodness only knows what else - 31 pages worth of rambling! So, um. Yeah. Kind of a mini-novella again, sorry folks. And the really scary thing? If I'd let myself carry on editing and re-drafting any longer, I'd have found even more things to say, and this would be even longer still!
