Big Sis suggested I order brother-in-law's Christmas and birthday presents online in the sales, gave me links and all, so I did. Only the stupid company has a) got my address wrong (wrong flat number), and b) are using parceline to deliver, and they are completely, completely useless. Won't let me change the delivery address, want to charge the earth if I try to arrange a convenient time for redelivery. Have had to just ask for a redelivery time on Monday, which will probably mean waiting in for the damn thing, and even then of course it won't reach me because they're using the wrong damn flat number... Can't even find out from their website where the depot is to collect from.
Why couldn't they just use the royal mail like everyone else? At least when my friendly neighbourhood postman fails to deliver my parcels, the depot is within walking distance of work...
Bah.
Their website is useless. To arrange to collect - even to find out where the depot is - they require an account with them. Which means a) payment, and b) regular use of their service. And I'm a recipient, not a customer - I never asked for their service to be used in the first place! So I shall roast them by email and hope someone acts. So have composed a blistering email outlining my grievance - just have to wait and see if I get a response!
