One good thing about all that rain last week - Turkish Neighbour was driven indoors. But the sun has come back out now, and so he's back to the nightly barbeques on my backdoorstep once more. He doesn't even always eat out there - he just seems to prefer cooking over the hot coals rather than use his oven! It's a nuisance because he disturbs me every time, our back doors are so close together and the communal space between so small. On the bright side, though, Him Upstairs has only woken me up once since I knocked on his door to complain about the noise. So that's good.
Excellent TV last night - New Tricks and ER both had really strong, enjoyable episodes. I shall be sad when New Tricks ends its run next week.
And I'm fairly certain I had something considerably more interesting to say than all that, but can't for the life of me remember what it was now!
