llywelaVery cold this morning. Bitter. And yet my rosemary bush has suddenly burst into glorious bloom. I've had it for a few years now, and it has never flowered, so now it chooses to flower for the first time in early February. This winter has been very confusing for gardens.
Last night was my usual busy Monday, with kids club and all, although I do have to 'fess up to being genuinely fond of all our kids. They are a pretty decent bunch, even the boisterous, mischievous ones. We've got the twins back in club now, after being absent all through January because of one of them being in hospital. Turns out, he's got a blood clot on his brain, and they've sent him home with a six-month course of blood thinners in hopes of dispersing it that way. He's ten years old. The list of restrictions - no running, no fighting, no banging his head, etc - are going to be very hard for him and his brother to stick to!
