Work tirade; feel free to ignore

Man. My Boss is so flaky, I can hardly even begin to describe it. Which is why I usually don't.
Today is a good example. She has 'office' down on her movements, but was in London for a meeting yesterday. I knew, from overhearing a phone conversation on Friday, that she wasn't planning to travel back from London till this morning so never really expected her to make it into the office. Then I get a couple of random people turn up out of the blue for a meeting with her that she'd apparently forgotten about.
Marvellous. It's so much fun having that kind of thing dropped on you from a great height. Cue lots of smiling and tooth clenching and fussing around making tea and coffee and frantically phoning Boss's mobile to find out where the hell she is. Only, y'know, more tactfully worded than that. Turns out she'd written the wrong date in her diary and thought they were coming tomorrow.
If she's no longer having this meeting tomorrow, as she'd expected, will she bother to turn up?
Thank heavens Pam was here so I wasn't on my own. Between the two of us we managed to hold an impromptu but highly productive meeting with these people, who work for a new community initiative that could be great for working in partnership with.
Bah.
