llywela | Christmas is coming...

Well, considering how disorganised I feel, and how it feels more like September than the end of November, my Christmas preparations are actually starting to come together now. Already sorted are gifts for Simon (he bought it himself and I bought it back off him ready to wrap up and give back again!), Deb (clubbed in with the parents and let them organise the whole thing), Ray (Deb told me what to get and I bought it) and now I've got Small's as well. Went shopping at lunchtime and picked up a very cute 3/4 size guitar that she asked for. Bought it off a very nice lad at Gamlins - he was ever so good, talked to me at length about the guitar, found me a beginners guitar primer perfect for a little girl, tuned the guitar for me, advised me on how to carry the box with it in, and spontaneously threw in a couple of pretty pink plectrums for free.

I might have to go back one day to talk to him about stands and tuners...*G*

A guitar. Long gone are the days Small would be delighted with a doll, or Disney princess dressing up outfit. These days it's guitars and MP3 players!

Now I just need to sort out what my parents want, and pick up a few stocking fillers. And that'll be the gifts all done. While out at lunchtime I also bought my Christmas cards, which I'll have to write tonight - the local ones anyway - so I can catch the Scout Post, which closes at the weekend.

Yup, Christmas is coming, even if it doesn't feel like it yet!
