llywelaWhen it's this dark in the middle of the day? Definitely November. It's about time the weather caught up with the date, but seriously - did it have to soak me again this morning? I'm not fond, in general, of arriving in work all soggy and miserable.
On the bright side, though, my stone dead fic-muse has been stirring ever so slightly just recently - enough so that I've managed about three pages this week of the fic that's been more or less stalled since the summer. It's snail's pace progress, but it makes me happy.
Firefly also makes me happy. Watched Out of Gas last night and went to bed in a rosy glow of Firefly!Love. Must get around some day to continuing the FF recaps I started once upon a time...
Plans for the weekend remain fluid at this stage. Small may or may not pounce on me this evening and beg to be allowed to stay over. Half of me thinks, hell yeah, why not, she's fun to have around. But the other half is feeling manky and hormonal and would kind of like to just stay in bed all day tomorrow and not have to entertain a ten year old! I'd also quite like to make the cakes I'd planned to make last night, only to get home soaking wet and discover I'd forgotten to buy the eggs. So disappointed, idiot me. So, we'll see what happens.
