Apr. 25th, 2009 02:50 pmMy uncle's funeral is next Friday at 4.30 in Oxford. That's kind of an awkward time of day, really, especially given the travelling involved. It'll be a late night. Can't be helped, though. His middle son arrives from Japan on Monday. I'm glad he's able to make the trip.
One of my cousins (on the other side of the family) is in hospital at the moment - the one who had the kidney transplant last year and who might be sharing the house with me eventually, if I ever actually move. Something to do with creatin levels, but fortunately it has turned out to be some kind of virus rather than a sign of rejection, which is a big relief because we were all quite concerned at first. The new kidney remains healthy and he should be able to go home after the weekend, which is good.
Fingers crossed for no more family dramas for a while.
