*peers out of window at damp and gloom*
We're meant to be taking our Sunday School to the seaside tomorrow. We go every year at about this time, and have never been rained off yet.
There's a first time for everything, I suppose. But the forecast for tomorrow is drier than today, so fingers crossed!
In other news, Brother Mine has developed a nasty abcess on his lower back that might need surgery if it doesn't respond to antibiotic. Nice. Apparently they are relatively common in men under 30 who work sedentary jobs. A friend of the family had the same thing a couple of years ago - he ended up with a two inch hole in his back and was off work for months! Hopefully Simon's won't be as bad.
Also, Sister Mine has finally had a diagnosis of PCOS (polycystic ovaries syndrome) slapped on her ongoing gynaecological troubles. It's genetic, so there are implications for me, too. Such as predisposition toward ovarian cancer later in life. Something to look forward to.
All in all, just another week in the life, really.
