Jun. 3rd, 2006 08:04 pmWatching Doctor Who Confidential - I love it when they visit locations I know well, and have been to. I love it even better when I've recognised those locations on the show, despite all the dressing up. Like Craig-y-Nos, that was recreated as a Scottish Castle for the werewolf episode! Craig-y-Nos is this absolutely stunning old castle right up the top of the Tawe Valley, once the home of Adelina Patti. Not the easiest place to get to, but well worth a visit.
Having recognised it on screen, dolled up as it was, so much fun seeing that recognition confirmed in Confidential.
Also recognised the Wales Millennium Centre when it was used, and that was seen in Confidential tonight as well. They also filmed at my old school, for a later episode, and most of last week's episode was filmed around Cathays, near to where I live...
Tonight's episode was fun. Classic Who - bizarre alien planet with bizarre goings on, to conclude next week. Doctor Who should always have cliff-hangers followed by 'to be continued', that's just how it's meant to be.
