Sep. 22nd, 2005 08:40 pmAnd wow. That funeral was packed - must have been nigh on 200 people there. Crowded into the hall, the side room, the back room, the annexe (with the sound on relay)...Mike was a popular guy.
It was very emotional, obviously. The family are devastated. The service was lead by three very close friends of Mike - they made up a singing quartet together. But it went well.
Overall, I think that that's the perfect way to go. Suddenly, painlessly, with standing room only at the service.
