Feeling sleepy and not so ready to face the week, and yet here I am. Monday morning. Work. Nice quiet office, as usual. I am expecting to have a bit of company today, though – the Boss has to be in because she has a meeting with a couple of the Project Workers. Which means that they also have to be here. I won't know what to do with myself, with all these people around! I spend so much time pottering around the office all on my lonesome.

I had Little Sis to stay over the weekend, again. This is becoming something of a recurring event, largely because of her separation anxiety and mini phobias, which – don't ask. Anyway, it is nice to have her. We bicker a lot, as all sisters do, but we have fun hanging out. And she is nine now and growing up fast – it won't be long before she is far too grown up and cool to want to hang out with her big sister! We hired a film, cwtched up together to watch it, and talked. She wanted to know when her 'nimples' were going to grow! Like I said, growing up fast…

And then we had a Buffy season 5 marathon on Saturday, because Small had learned that Buffy magically acquires a little sister and, being an adopted child herself, was enthralled by the idea and wanted to see Buffy being a big sister.

Small: "I wish Buffy could be my sister. I could fight vampires! I could use my cricket spikes…"

Meaning the wicket from her cricket set! She is a blast.

In Other News, my boy Crespo played from the start for Chelsea at the weekend, being apparently recovered from the slight muscle strain that prevented him travelling to South America for world cup qualifiers last weekend (probably precautionary as much as anything). No goals, though, sadly.

And I'm also having a 'thank crunchy, it's finished!' moment because Episode 11 of my Monico series is back from the beta (thanks Sue!), edited and is now live on my website. Except that that means I have no excuse not to carry on with all my other WIPs...
