So, I saw Molly last night. She's much better now that the shock of Joseph's diagnosis is wearing off and things are settling into a routine, but still deeply worried about him, of course - and also feeling under a lot of stress because there is so much else going on. Joseph's parents are cracking up under the stress and want to separate, and Molly's husband has now had a small stroke and had to stay in hospital for over a week. He doesn't live with her anyway - he's in a residential home because he's a chronic alcoholic and she was unable to cope with him anymore. But it is still very worrying for her.

Some people really do have runs of bad luck. :-(
