Almost asleep after nigh on eight hours at the beach with a whole bunch of kids. Amazingly, I seem to have caught the sun a little on my face. I'm not sure how I managed that as we didn't so much as see the sun until 4.30pm...

Despite being slightly chilly and occasionally drizzly, we had a really good day. The kids all behaved, no one got lost - games were played, a few hardy souls took a dip in the Bristol Channel, and when the day was done we took them all into the funfair for a couple of rides.

I shall be finding sand in odd places for weeks now.
