llywelaWaking up with an impending migraine is not the best way to start a day. It wiped out pretty much the whole of yesterday for me.
Managed to remain functional, because I had to. I had my Sunday School class to teach first thing - and the giggly 7-8 year olds I've got this year are such a change from the gossipy 9-10 year olds I had last year! And then in the afternoon we had family visiting - my aunty Lel, plus the entire Chris B clan from Warrington: my dad's youngest brother Chris, his wife Anne, and their two kids. David and Emily are six and two, and we don't see enough of them to miss out.
So, I dosed up with paracetamol, and managed to stave off actual migraine, keeping it as pounding headache and spaced-out-ness. The kids are gorgeous, love 'em both to bits. David is so affectionate, and Emily such a little Miss. Won't see 'em again now till next year sometime, as they aren't coming down at Christmas - we sent their presents back with them yesterday.
Didn't stay up to watch the new Torchwood last night, I'll watch it on On Demand tonight, probably. Slept like a log after being so wiped out all day. And today it's back to work. Got my driving lesson at 12, and then some presentation stand thing at the Open University this afternoon that Boss asked me to help out on. Should be okay - for someone who was cripplingly shy most of her life, I'm actually pretty good at schmoozing crowds of random strangers at these things!
